Dota Hero Rikimaru The Stealth Assasin

Dota Hero Rikimaru - The Stealth Assasin, Item Guide Build and Strategy. Rikimaru was born as heir to the satyr dominion, Rikimaru was trained by the strongest warrior race. Using his small size to his advantage, he can render himself invisible, enabling him to stab his enemies in the back. He can also use thick smoke as a cover, to kill.

Rikimaru The Stealth Assasin

I. Introduction

Stealth, undetectable as it’s name. Another melee agility hero that come with blink strike. Synergy with backstab and perma invisible. Well, i know maybe some people rarely seen this hero on league match, because item dependant, and can easily countered by some hero e.g Gondar, Slardar, and also gem an sentry. But the funniest thing with this hero is you can walk anywhere without being ganked(if no gem or sentry) and surely can steal kill low hp hero. So how to do it? Let’s see

II. Skill Build

1, 3, 5, 7 : Blink Strike

2, 8, 9, 10 : Backstab

4, 12, 13, 14 : Smoke Screen

6, 11, 16 : Permanent Invisibility

III. General Tips

1. Always do every damage from behind to get bonus damage, makes creeping faster too.

2. Buy Gem if you really want to get safety all the way (ward if you don’t have enough money)

3. Use blink strike to get some steal kill and farming also escaping.

4. Don’t hesitate to search enemy in forest, if you lucky, you will get some kill.

IV. How To Play

Just like other agility hero, Rikimaru is one of the unique with his backstab and invisibility. Though he has lo hp too, and need so much money to enrage in late game. So i recommend you get this :

1. Power Treads

2. Cranium Basher

3. Mask Of Madness

4. Yasha

5. Butterfly

6. Gem Of True Sight/ Sentry

Start with one circlet and one slippers agility, continue with some tango, then pick any lane excet mid, and make sure you don’t solo. Play safety until lvl 6, after that, you can go ahead for better farming and killing. Careful with Gondar and Slardar, they can mak you visible in some time with their ultimate. Once you get money for power tread, make it. With Agi mode, now you have more bonus n backstab, try to kill some enemy like Kardel, Krobelus etc. Make sure you search some hero that like to be around in the forest. You can wait them to kill creep and let their hp bar goes down, then stab stab, die. Exception for Luna and other hero that has speciality when faces 1 vs 1 e.g Yurnero. But if you smart, you can make them waste their ulti. Exception also for Assasinate, you can’t run from it. Lock On.

Get Mask Of Madness to increase your insane backstab damage. Backstab with high ms/as will be a pain in the butt since you’ll chase him all the way and increase ms will be a handy in this time. But if you wnt to skip it and get Cranium Basher, hy not?bashed hero will be easier to kill, while stun, we can get 2-3 backstab damage. This will make us a really hunter in the back.

Butterfly is a common item for Agi hero so no question about that. But don’t ever get this item first because it’s more expensive than any other core item like lothar , dagger, and else. Gem can be gotten at anytime you want, if situation getting worse, get sentry, coz if you die while bring gem, then you’ll get countered easily later.

There is no special skill needed with Rikimaru, but pay attention when walking in the road, if some creep hit you while no hero, there must be a sentry in there, and repeat check those area, this will prevent you get killed in the battle once it happen in there.

V. Counter Hero And Friend

As i say before, Slardar, Gondar, Even Zeus can be your enemy. Play careful if you get Track or Amplify damage. Watch out for Rooftrellen Eyes in the forest, also reveal invisible unit. Other assasin lik boneclink like to bring a gem too sometimes f they want to kill you. Remember you can hide but you can’t run so fast like them.

VI. Conclusion

- Stab from behind (ALWAYS)

- Check for an remember where last time you get killed and hit by some enemy. Bring sentry for some counter

- Watch out for some anti invisible hero

- Blink strike has 2 purpose, chase and run.

- Smoke Screen must be used properly in the battle as it provide silence and miss 75% chance.

- Don’t BUT RADIANCE, there is no need for you to farm it. Also it tells you “There is Rikimaru in here, place sentry, DIE LOL “

Dota Hero Syllabear The Lone Druid

Dota Hero Syllabear - The Lone Druid, Item Guide Build and Strategy. Syllabear avoid disputes when the deeds of His people. Syllabear grow strong and savage, like the bears that inhabited the forests of his house. Using Druidic power, he can enter a state of almost rabid frenzy, and even call powerful bear companions to aid him. Sensing the damage that will come their settlement they turned their child into a bear and sent him into the wild.
Syllabear The Lone Druid

Base HP: 473
Base Mana: 169

Strength – 17 + 2.1
Agility – 24 + 2.7 (Primary)
Intelligence- 13 + 1.4

Base damage 46-50
Attack range of 550
Base Armor 2.4
Movement speed of 305

Syllabear maybe a difficult hero to master since you must control two characters. But once you get used to it, he can wreak havoc to your enemies. He is supposed to be a carry hero, witch means hopefully he will be a hero killer.

Skill Descriptions

Spirit Bear

Summons a powerful Spirit Bear companion. At level 4, it randomly Entangles enemies that it attacks, which immobilizes an enemy for 3 seconds, dealing 40 damage per second. Spirit Bear deals 28 – 38 normal damage. Spirit Bear will automatically teleport back to Syllabear if it attempts to attack a unit while he is more than 1500 range away from Syllabear

Level 1 – 1400 hit points, Syllabear will lose 100 HP if Spirit Bear dies. Spirit Bear has 320 movespeed and Base Attack Time of 1.75.

Level 2 – 1800 hit points, gains Return, which allows it to teleport to Syllabear instantly (with 5 seconds cooldown), Syllabear will lose 200 HP if Spirit Bear dies. Spirit Bear has 320 movespeed and Base Attack Time of 1.65

Level 3 – 2300 hit points, has Return, Entangle and Demolish. Demolish allows Spirit Bear to deal 1.33 times damage to buildings, Syllabear will lose 300 HP if Spirit Bear dies. Spirit Bear has 330 movespeed and Base Attack Time of 1.55.

Level 4 – 2700 hit points, Entangles 16% of the time, has Return, Demolish, 33% Spell Damage Reduction, and can carry up to 6 items, Syllabear will lose 400 HP if Spirit Bear dies. Spirit Bear has 340 movespeed and Base Attack Time of 1.45

Mana Cost: 75
Cooldown: 180

This is Syllabear’s signature skill and his best skill. The Spirit Bear is extremely powerful and can entangle heroes. The Spirit Bear is also great for tanking towers and is a good tower destroyer with Demolish. One thing which you may note is his extremely high health. When Syllabear is only level 7, Spirit Bear will have 2700 hit points. This is one of his greatest strengths. Spirit Bear is also insanely fast with a 340 base movespeed at level 4, which is boosted to 380 base movespeed by four points in Synergy.

Rabid

Syllabear can create an intense combative fury in either himself or any of his controlled unit.
Lasts 10 seconds.

Level 1 – Increases attack speed by 10% and movement speed by 5%.
Level 2 – Increases attack speed by 20% and movement speed by 10%.
Level 3 – Increases attack speed by 30% and movement speed by 15%.
Level 4 – Increases attack speed by 40% and movement speed by 20%.

Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 30

This is a great skill. It offers a heavy increase in chasing capabilities and damage per second. Most of the time you will be using Rabid on your Spirit Bear in the early game. In late game, it is highly advisable that you use Rabid on yourself because you will have more damage. Note that it only lasts 10 seconds. With four points in Synergy it lasts 50 seconds, that is why we don’t get this skill early game.

Synergy

Increases the Lone Druid’s synergy with his Spirit Bear with each level:

Spirit Bear – Adds 10 damage and 10 movement points.
Rabid – Increases the duration by 10 seconds.
True Form – Adds 100 HP per level

Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A

This boosts the effectiveness of all of Syllabear’s skills greatly. It gives Spirit Bear much more damage and movespeed; it gives Rabid a huge duration boost that it desperately needs; and it gives True Form an extra four hundred health, which is always useful.

True Form

Syllabear learns to morph himself into a brown bear. He can morph freely between human and bear form.

Level 1 – 250 bonus health.
Level 2 – 400 bonus health and has Battle Cry.
Level 3 – 600 bonus health and has One.

True Form’s Mana Cost: 25
True Form’s Cooldown: N/A

Battle Cry
Give Lone Druid and his units under his control within 900 AoE 20 bonus damage and 2 bonus armor.

Duration: Lasts 10 seconds
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Mana cost: 50 mana

One
Links Syllabear and up to 2 of his controlled units by the soul. Damage that they take is distributed equally between 2 or 3 of them.

Mana Cost: 80 mana Duration: 35 seconds
Cooldown: About 12 seconds

This gives a lot of extra health to Syllabear which you really need. If you cast it on Spirit Bear, then any damage that either Syllabear or Spirit Bear takes is equally distributed between the two units. One will work on any unit that you control. I use this skill early game to escape from ganks (Note: It doesn’t increase your health by a flat bonus, the percentage of health you have relative to your maximum health will stay the same.

So when using it to escape ganks, turn it on before they start attacking.) And in late game I use this skill to turn my hero into a beastly tank. One is a very useful skill that you receive by leveling this up and it makes Syllabear a monster tank.

Spirit Bear is your most important skill. Spirit Bear is obviously an amazing ability and it is by far Syllabear’s best one. So if you disagree with this, don’t comment, just stop playing DotA or read another guide. Spirit Bear has 2700 health with makes it a beastly tank, a really fast attack speed, a 380 movespeed which is ideal for chasing, and Entangle, which is a good disable. He’s pretty much awesome in every respect.

Synergy is really good because it gives your bear a shitload of damage which you need early game. It also gives him a lot of movespeed. Rabid looks like it might be good early game, but the duration is so short without Synergy that it isn’t worthwhile at all. The extra damage on your bear helps a ton in last hitting as well.

I don’t get Rabid early because it won’t last long enough and Synergy is just far more important because it will add about as much movement speed and it will add more damage per second. I get Rabid at levels 10-13 because the extra movespeed and attack speed that Rabid can give your Spirit Bear are far more important than +8 to stats.

It gives your Spirit Bear close to 522 movespeed and a high attack speed which will allow you to chase down heroes extremely well.

True Form is the main point that I expect to take flak from. I don’t advise you to use it before level 16 because the trade-off isn’t very good until that point. The extra thousand health is well worth and the access to the One ability makes this skill well worth it, despite losing your range advantage. Range is most useful in early game lane control anyway.

I don’t advise using this skill until you get to at least level 15 or so unless you’re just using it to run away. I get level one of this skill at level nine because you can use it when you anticipate being ganked.

Item Build

1. Ring of Regeneration and 2 Ironwood Branches (Sylla)
2. Boots of Speed (Bear)
3. Gloves of Haste (Bear)
4. Boots of Elvenskin (Bear)
5. Finish Power Treads (Bear)
6. Boots of Speed (Sylla)
(optional : Bracers for Sylla)
7. Sacred Relic (Bear)
8. Finish Radiance (Bear)
9. Finish Boots of Travel (Sylla)

Your core item should be like this :

Spirit Bear

Syllabear

+ (as needed)

Treads on your Spirit Bear provides a huge damage per second increase and greatly increases your chasing capabilities. With Treads, your Bear will be able to increase the amount of Entangles that it does and it will allow it to get more hits in on a running hero because of the large boost to movespeed. With level 4 Synergy, your Spirit Bear has 380 base movespeed. With Treads that becomes a whopping 445 movespeed. This should be enough to chase down most heroes.

Radiance on your Spirit Bear provide a large amount of damage. Radiance is the best damage per second item, and since your Spirit Bear will always be in the middle of battles, it almost ensures that most of the enemy team will be getting hurt by the Radiance area of effect damage. When chasing a hero, your Spirit Bear will get in many more hits than your hero will because he is much faster.

Your Spirit Bear will also perform more attacks per second because you will Rabid him and put Treads on him. Radiance is put on the Spirit Bear which optimizes damage. You can harass a hero with your Spirit Bear even if your hero isn’t around by moving around with him and not attacking.

Sylla maybe need health boosting items if facing chain nuker, but don’t waste money other than 1 or 2 Bracers. The reason for not purchasing any is because you want to get that Radiance as quickly as possible so you are able to best utilize it. The earlier you get Radiance the better. True Form allows you to boost your health by 600 if you know that you are in a dangerous situation and are about to be ganked and such.

Boots of Travel allow you to teleport all around. This allows you to farm in open lanes quickly and lets you get right into the thick of a team battle if one is about to occur and you are far away. This one is pretty obvious.

If the games last long, this is your luxury you should bought:

Syllabear

Spirit Bear

Hood of Defiance is to allow Syllabear to tank more, because at that point in the game you will most likely be the first hero focused. I get this item over Heart because 30% reduction from spells is really useful. A lot of the damage that you’re going to take is going to come from spells. It’s also a pretty cheap item, so it’s going to help your survivability quite a bit. When you use True Form, you already have a large amount of health anyway, so that’s why I prefer to get Hood.

Butterfly serves two purposes for Syllabear. First, it improves your damage by a lot, improving your attack speed by more than a Hyperstone and improving your damage by 60. It also improves your survivability, giving about 4 armor and a whopping 30% evasion. After the new buff to Butterfly, this item is pretty awesome. I prefer this item over other damage items because it’s important to improve your survivability as well as damage. It’s also a nice complement to Hood because Hood doesn’t help against physical attacks.

Desolator is the next best straight damage item after Radiance. After Desolator, you should get a Heart. At this point of the game, you should have a ton of damage, so it isn’t really that important to get more damage. Survivability will be more key at this point, because you’re still going to be focused, so the longer you remain on the battle field, the more damage you’re going to do.

Hyperstone and Bashers come next so your Spirit Bear can disable the enemy team more. By this time your item slots on your main hero will mostly be filled, so there isn’t much other choice. I get Hyperstone before Bashers because it increases the amount of disabling that it will do by more than getting a Basher. The increased attack speed per gold from a Hyperstone and 4 Gloves of Haste are almost exactly the same that it’s worth getting a Hyperstone to conserve your slots. If you get 4 Gloves of Haste, that only gives you room for one Basher.

Strategy

Firstly, if you want to do all of these techniques quickly and efficiently, you should definitely have three different hotkey groups. One group for the Syllabear and the Spirit Bear, one group for Syllabear only, and one group for the Spirit Bear only. Also toggle the button near your minimap that has a bunch of dots on it. You want it to look like the dots are all spread out instead of in a pyramid. That will ensure that the units in your selected group don’t all move at the speed of the slowest unit.

You should request to solo. Since Spirit Bear can’t Entangle until level 5, just do your best to farm your lane and only harass minimally. If you’re level 5 and you do get an Entangle, just attack with both your hero and your bear and hoping for a kill. Last hitting should be really easy with Syllabear because you have huge combined damage with your Spirit Bear, so try to farm a lot. Whenever your creeps push out past the river, go farm the neutral camp.

I also highly recommend that you creep the neutrals if you’re having a tough time surviving in your line. Farming neutrals will still net you a decent amount of gold and experience, so even if you are forced to do this, you can still be on track for your Radiance. Remember that neutral creeps will spawn every minute, so try to take advantage of this when farming them.

Use the bear to tank a tower while tower diving a hero. Tower diving means that you are trying to kill a hero next to his tower. This can be dangerous early game because your hero will not have much health. The Spirit Bear will have a ton of health though, so this is a much safer method. Use the bear to follow a hero that is ganking as an observer ward or like Beast Master’s Hawk.

Entangle will never proc unless you issue an attack command to your Spirit Bear to attack (don’t have your bear auto-attack anything.) Use the Spirit Bear as a chicken at level 7 because it can hold items for you. Whenever you send it back to heal, don’t forget that you can buy items on it to then transfer to your hero.

You can also put a Gem on your Spirit Bear if your team needs a Gem holder. This isn’t always the best idea, but if you are careful with your Spirit Bear, he will be difficult to kill because he is so fast and has Return. If you do this, you have to be really careful with your hero too, because if your hero dies, Spirit Bear will drop the Gem.

When you are getting chased and your bear has treads, attack the hero that is chasing you, and there will be a good chance that your Spirit Bear will entangle him, allowing you to escape peacefully. (If you don’t have your treads on bear yet, send your hero to the fountain while microing your Bear to block the hero as you would with a creep wave.)

When you are pitted against an extremely difficult lane combination you should put your hero out of nuke range but just at the edge of the experience range. Micro the bear to get gold/denies. That allows you to farm safely. When you have just chased really far into enemy territory after a hero and are returning to your side of the map there may be some creeps following you and your Spirit Bear. Use the Spirit Bear to attack the creeps while you run away so the enemy team doesn’t know where you are. You can dodge them with this technique.

If you’re sending your Spirit Bear back to the Fountain to heal, it’s a good idea to transfer your Radiance to your hero until your Spirit Bear gets back. But make sure that you have an open item slot on your hero, or else you could drop it and an enemy might pick it up, costing you the game. If you’re really having trouble with your lane, then it’s really helpful to creep the neutral creeps near you. It’s very effective with Spirit Bear.

Also, if your creeps are attacking the tower, and you don’t want to cross the river, you can just creep the neutral creep camp that has two trolls and a kobold taskmaster for some quick, safe experience. I highly recommend that you do this, because crossing the river is pretty risky, and these creeps are easy gold. If Spirit Bear Entangles a creep, focus another one because Entangle lasts a long time on creeps. Remember that neutral creep camps will respawn every minute, so try to take advantage of that and not be near the camps when creeps respawn.

You should have your Radiance by about 35 minutes in. It’s really important that you do, but if you don’t you really need to just power farm. If you are having trouble farming in your lane, farm ancients and regular neutrals. Once you have your Radiance, your Spirit Bear will be extremely strong. You should constantly have your Spirit Bear on Rabid and just try to chase down as many heroes as possible. When you have Radiance on your Spirit Bear, don’t forget that even if Sylla isn’t next to it, you can chase the enemy around with it while not attacking, and the immolation from Radiance will still damage them.

You can also use this tactic to farm creeps while your hero is at the fountain. Your team might start pushing here or they might not, it depends on your strategy. If they are pushing, you should be leading your team with your Spirit Bear, and going for their weak intelligence heroes. If your team isn’t pushing, just farm up a storm. With Radiance on your Spirit Bear, you should be last hitting pretty much every creep. Neutral creeping is also much faster once you have Radiance.

When you are level 16 you might want to always stay in bear form. You might want to use it only when you are being attacked like Morphling’s morph stats, but it doesn’t work because it has a casting time so your health goes down by a good percentage when you are transforming yourself. When you are level 16 use one whenever you are in True Form. This spell is so awesome, it makes you a huge tank.

But, against a team with a lot of AoE this spell is useless so you might want to put the radiance on yourself and not on the bear, cast One, then move your bear out of the fight to tank as much as you can. One only lasts 30 sec so you need to press the hotkey for your bear, return, and use One again. You should be leading your pushes because you will be your team’s tank at this point. Just go for those low health heroes. If it’s really late in the game, use One with Spirit Bear and keep it out of the beginning of the battle, then bring it in towards the end to clean up. This will make you a monster of a tank.

17-21. Stats
22. Lucent Beam/Stats
23-25. Lucent Beam

This build is designed to build battle Luna. Go for Stats and Lunar Blessing in early games. Those will makes you easily to get last hit while stats help your survivability. Take 1 level of Lucent Beam for the mini-stun if you’re facing channeling heroes on your lane. Lucent Beam is maxed at your last levels because it doesn’t give you lane control. If you max it first, Luna will lose it’s effectiveness during mid and late game.

Moon Glaives is taken after Lunar Blessing, because Lunar Blessing gives you more damage for last hitting. Take Moon Glaives early when you are facing melee hero for harassing while killing creeps or denying. Moon Glaives don’t give you lane controlling abilities, it just help you pushing and farming. A bit of Stats are gotten early as they’re still much better than Moon Glaives, and they give you a bit of everything you need.

Moon Glaives are gotten as soon as you maxed out Lunar Blessing, as you probably have enough overall damage to deal significant damage with your Bouncing Glaives. But if you’re gonna for neutral creeps, take Moon Glaives immediately as it will really help you kill neutrals faster. Eclipse is maxed out whenever you can, as it deals superb damage and you can kill any lone enemy you pass by, and it deals great damage in a teamfight.

6. Finish Power Treads
7. Black King Bar (optional)
8. Butterfly
9. Finish Satanic

Your items should be like this:

Optional

Get tangoes and some stats from circlets, tangoes is better than Ring of Regeneration since you will get Dominator. Wraithbands is better than bracers because you need fast damage boost for farming. Helm of the Dominator is probably better than any other item for Luna, as it gives Luna more capability to survive while farming. The leech helps Luna on jungling and the dominate ability will get you a Centaur/Furbols. Use them to stomp then Eclipse to get kills.

Black King Bar is an optional items. When you are facing so much nuker, it’s advisable you buy this thing before Butterfly. If you’re going extraordinary farming or your enemies are all DPS hero, rushing Butterfly will gives you better result. It gives you everything, damage, attack speed and especially the evasion.

Upgrade your shoes into Power Treads to boost attack speed After get some damage items, finish the Satanic. With the additional hp given and the additional lifesteal boost, you’re sure to survive much longer against enemy heroes, and Satanic’s active lifeleech gives you additional damage, plus the lifeleech, which gives you a lifesteal even on the bouncing glaives.

Strategy

Luna like the other agility heroes, is fragile early games. Your attack range is very short for a range hero. Try to get last hit and farming immediately. Don’t bother for harassing, you will get a kill when you got your ulti’s. When you get a Dominator, it’s time for jungling since Luna skills makes jungling very easy. You can go live in the forest and gain a lot of money in a short time. There’s no problem when you encounter any enemy hero, considering you can survive whatever they can take and that you can kill them with Eclipse and a few more hits.

Keep farming and farming. Luna is an exceptional farmer and you must maximize it’s potential to rush your items. Only do ganking when they are close to your jungling position. If you are ganking too far, it means you’ll lose a lot of time farming and will delay your items. The most efficient way to kill heroes is to surprise eclipse them, offensively in a lane. When getting caught in a forest, you will turn out to be some sort of Anti-Gank, so it means you can kill them when you’re getting harmed, just make sure they won’t survive. If you’re short of HP, don’t bother and leech some creeps.

When it’s times for team battles, the most important things is watch for enemies creeps. Don’t waste your ulti’s on creeps. Tell your teams to clear the creeps first. Raigor and QoP ulti’s are great way to clear the creeps. After the creeps clear, jump in and start Eclipse. They’ll receive a massive amount of damage, and all you have to do next is to attack them. Activate Unholy Rage if you have Satanic, start hitting the weakest hero and leech at the same time. Your Glaives will hurt a lots of hero and hopefully can bring you a 1-3 kill.

* Take Aim & Headshot are interchangeable. Usually when the enemy in my lane is range / nuker I will go Take Aim first, and the other way around when the enemy is melee. Giving your more distance not only keeps you further away from harm’s way, but also allows you to harass a lot better because you can now shoot an extra shot or two before the enemy is outside your range.
* I suggest you take stats points in level 10, and 12-15 before you take Scattershot. This of course can be flexible depending on game situations.. but on most games you’ll need to buff yourself up a little at this stage of the game. +10 all stats will help immensely.
* Scattershot is suggested to be taken around level 17-20. OMG NOOB Scattershot sucks oneoneleven last hit is more g0su ~ I’ve heard it said. If you hate it so much, go ahead and skip it. I never said that Scattershot should replace last hitting, however there’s no denying that Scattershot accelerates your farming because you can clear a wave / neutrals camp, and switch to another location quickly. The argument that it pushes the creeps too far to the enemy tower is correct. Yep, you DO want the creeps to move forward in this case, since its progressing toward late game.
* As expected, get assassinate whenever available.

First, you need to spawn more creeps or by killing enemies in order to gain more extra gold to buy the best items for Sniper. You can kill over enemies together with your team by using skill assasinate to kill your enemy in a long distance shot if your team can not kill them so its your chance to kill over that gives you point and extra gold.

Secondly, just buy the items for Sniper either use for offense or defense. But first, you need to buy “Threads” or “Boots of travel” and I know you can buy it with your knowledge of the Recipe. So here, the best Items for Sniper (it either for offense or defense items, feel free to use if you want):

Dota Hero Aurel Vlaicu The Gyprocopter

Dota Hero Aurel Vlaicu - The Gyprocopter , Item Guide Build and Strategy. Aurel Vlaicu is a unique hero from Sentinel which has many active skills as an Agility hero. Raised amongst the dwarven mining clan, Aurel grew up with a fascination for making things explode. Unlike the rest of the clan however, Aurel sought to use more skills than just blowing up rocks. Aurel is able to create everything from engines to missles, By combining the controlled explosion of thick metal to direct their force.
Aurel Vlaicu the Gyrocopter Skill Descriptions

Hero Class: Gyrocopter
Hero Name: Aurel Vlaicu

Range: 375
Movement Speed: 305
Hero Type: Agility
Starting Armor: 2
Starting Damage: 41-51

Agility: 24 + 2.4
Strength: 18 + 1.8
Intelligence: 23 + 2.1

Rocket Barrage

Gyrocopter unleashes a massive salvo of rockets, striking random units in a 400 aoe. Fires 30 rockets over 3 seconds.

Damage per rocket: 10/12/14/16

Cooldown: 6.5
Manacost: 90

Note: The rockets can only hit units you have vision over.

This skill looks awesome, multiple rocket is launched from you. However, the damage is pretty small if you got many enemies around you. If you wanna kill enemy hero with this skill, make sure he is alone. Also a good skill for push/farm.

Homing Missile

The Gyrocopter launches a homing missile that will follow the target until it impacts. The missile is inactive for 3 seconds upon launch and then begins slowly accelerating towards the target. Stuns the target for 2.5 seconds and deals damage based on how much it traveled. The missle can be destroyed by 3 attacks from a hero or tower.

Maximum damage is dealt at 2000 distance traveled (does not increase beyond that distance)

Maximum Damage: 100/200/300/400
Stun Duration: 2.5

Cooldown: 20/18/16/14
Manacost: 120/130/140/150
Cast Range: 900

Note: Towers do half damage. Enemy has vision over the rocket once it starts moving.

Pretty tricky skill. Make sure you cast this from behind a forest so your target won’t notice it until they got hit. The stun is always 2.5 seconds, but the damage is depends from how far the missile traveled.

Flak Cannon

The Gyrocopter enables all of its cannons, allowing its attacks to strike all enemies in a 800 aoe. Lasts for a limited number of attacks or 15 seconds. Does not work with illusions.

Your attack range is still limited to 375 range.

Attacks: 3/4/5/6
Manacost: 50
Cooldown: 20

Maybe this is the only skill that suggest Gyrocopter as a carry hero. You should take this only when you got enough already damage items. If you wanna be a full caster instead, skip this over stats.

Call Down

The Gyrocopter launches two missiles at the targeted area. The first missile strikes in 2 seconds, followed by the second missile at 4 seconds. Enemies in the area when a missile strikes are damaged and slowed.

Primary Missile Damage: 250/300/350
Primary Missile Slow: 20%
Primary Missile Slow Duration: 2

Secondary Missile Damage: 100/150/200
Secondary Missile Slow: 50%
Secondary Missile Slow Duration: 3

Cast Range: 1000

AOE: 400
Cooldown: 55/50/45
Manacost: 125

Note: The visual warning indicator is visible for allies only. The enemies can see the rockets fly out of you though.

Pretty neat ulti, maybe work well if you can hold the enemies with Black Hole or other skill so the enemies will got hit with the second missile.

Dota Hero Mirana Nigtshade The Priestess

Dota Hero Mirana Nigtshade - The Priestess, Item Guide Build and Strategy. Mirana Nightshade Priestess of Moonhas always been one of the more fun and special heroes to play. Mirana is among few other heroes character takes time and practice before he can master that makes them difficult to play than the other hero, because of his abilities and gameplay, he’s definitely not just a click-and-kill hero.
Mirana Nightshade
Strength: 17 + 1.85
Affiliation: Sentinel Agility*: 20 + 2.75
Damage: 38 – 49 Intelligence: 17 + 1.65
Movespeed: 300 HP: 473
Range: 600 (ranged) Mana: 221
Attack Time: 1.42 (+20%)
Armor: 1.8
Mirana is a DPS hero packed with 2 nukes and a stun which is one of the most effective ganking skills. Her Leap also makes her one of the most difficult heroes to kill, providing her with an effective escape tool that doubles as a Battle Initiator.

Starfall (T)
Calls down a wave of meteors to damage each nearby enemy. If enemy is farther than 600 range, it has a 60% chance to still hit him. One random enemy unit within 200 aoe will get hit again for half the damage.
Level Duration Cooldown Mana Cost Casting Range Area of Effect Effects
1 N/A 12 seconds 100 N/A 600* 75 damage per wave
2 N/A 12 seconds 120 N/A 600* 150 damage per wave
3 N/A 12 seconds 140 N/A 600* 225 damage per wave
4 N/A 12 seconds 160 N/A 600* 300 damage per wave
Has a 60% Chance to also hit units ranging from 600 AoE to 900 AoE away from her.
Starfall hits all enemy units in a 600 AoE around her.
One random enemy unit in a 200 AoE around her will be hit again by Starfall and take half of the said damage.
The position of Mirana does not affect the random enemy to be hit again. When Mirana casts Starfall and moves away, the second star will hit the enemy 200 AoE from where she was when she cast Starfall, not from where she is recently.
This is not blocked by Linken’s Sphere.
Starfall deals Magical damage which is reduced by the target’s Spell Resistance and is blocked by Spell Immunity.
Starfall is a general instant AoE nuke that makes Mirana a great farmer and at the same time allows her to initiate with Leap. Combined with Elune’s Arrow powerful stun and some help from allies, it provides the team with powerful ganking power early and mid game.

Elune’s Arrow (R)
Fires an arrow to a location with deadly precision, dealing large damage and stunning the first unit it strikes. Stun duration increases based on how far the target is, ranging from 0.5 to 5 seconds. Has 3000 range.
Level Duration Cooldown Mana Cost Casting Range Area of Effect Effects
1 depends on range 25 seconds 100 3000 140 Deals 90 damage
2 depends on range 25 seconds 100 3000 140 Deals 180 damage
3 depends on range 25 seconds 100 3000 140 Deals 270 damage
4 depends on range 25 seconds 100 3000 140 Deals 360 damage
The arrow does not hit allied units.
For every 150 distance the arrow travels, the stun duration upon impact increases by 0.5 seconds. For example, an arrow that travels for 300 range stuns for 1 second, and an arrow that travels at least 1500 range stuns for 5 seconds (which is the maximum stun duration).
The arrow has an effective movespeed of 837 units per second.
The stun duration is determined by the distance between where Mirana fired the arrow and where the arrow hits its target. This means the stun duration is not based on the actual distance the arrow travels in some cases (if the arrow hits the map boundary and moves along it). This also means that firing the arrow and immediately moving backwards will not increase the stun duration.
The stun is blocked by Linken’s Sphere but the damage is still dealt.
Invisible units will not be stunned, but will still take damage.
Elune’s Arrow deals Magical damage which is reduced by the target’s Spell Resistance and is blocked by Spell Immunity.
Elune’s Arrow deals the damage before the stun, so it is fully evadable by Phase Shift.
Elune’s Arrow is regarded as one of the most powerful single target nukes when used by a skilled player. Apart from Pudge’s Meat Hook, it is a non-ultimate instant single target nuke that does the most damage with a concurrent stun (Laser deals more damage, but has no stun). Also the fact that it goes through allies makes it very powerful in lanes, especially if you catch an opposing hero unawares. Together with Leap and Starfall, it gives Mirana a very powerful combination. If you find yourself getting targeted a lot by Mirana’s Elune’s Arrow, getting Linken’s Sphere would be a smart idea, as it blocks the stun entirely.

Leap (E)
Mirana’s wild Frostsaber leaps forward into battle, empowering allies with a ferocious roar upon landing. Speed bonus lasts 10 seconds.
Level Duration Cooldown Mana Cost Casting Range Area of Effect Effects
1 10 seconds 40 seconds 60 N/A 800 630 range, 4% IAS and MS increase

While Leaping, Mirana is moved forth 30 units every 0.025 seconds, thus she has a speed of 1200 while leaping.
The original tooltip in DotA Allstars states that the leap range is 400/450/500/550, but due to a coding typo, the actual distance moved is about 50% farther than stated (630/690/780/840). For more technical information, refer to Talk:Priestess of the Moon.
Leap uses a 0.01 second Wind Walk to dodge any projectiles currently en route to Mirana.
Leap is a basic escape/initiator ability that synergizes very well with the rest of Mirana’s abilities. When Mirana first came out Leap made Mirana invulnerable, allowing her to completely evade damage from around half of the nukes in the game. This has recently been changed, but the instant casting time and its ability to go over cliffs make it a reliable escape mechanism.

Moonlight Shadow (W)
Turns Nightshade and all allied heroes invisible. If Invisibility is broken, it gets restored after the fade time during the shadow duration.
Level Duration Cooldown Mana Cost Casting Range Area of Effect Effects
1 7 seconds 160 seconds 200 N/A N/A 2.5 second fade time
2 9 seconds 160 seconds 250 N/A N/A 2.0 second fade time
3 11 seconds 160 seconds 300 N/A N/A 1.5 second fade time
This spell temporarily grants all friendly heroes a modified version of Rikimaru’s Permanent Invisiblity.
Moonlight Shadow is a great ability to prevent enemy ganks or doing surprise ganks against the enemy (although the sound made by Moonlight Shadow often gives away surprise ganks). Nevertheless, providing that enemy players don’t have Wards or Necronomicon, it is very useful.
Thanks DP for this info. I just copied and paste this.

So We have four skill, two for escaping or initiating the battle. Since Star Fall is the only AoE nuking ability, so we should max it out asap. We don’t need Elune Arrow damage, we need it only for stun. So, save the points for Star Fall and Leap since Mirana is rather a weak hero without escape method. So skill build maybe like this :

Star Fall : 1, 3, 5, 7

Elune Arrow : 2, 12 ,13, 14

Leap : 4, 8, 9, 10

Moonlight Shadow : 6, 11, 16

Stats : The rest. You can substitute between stats point and skip Moonlight shadow lvl 2 & 3.

How to Use & Strategy

The most important, you are not gonna be a killer in early game. Just support your friend for being a mobile stunner with elune arrow. Elune arrow is the longest single stun skill in the game if you can use it well. First, make sure that you are 1000 range from your target, and predict their movement. The best practice is, let your friend choose Mirana and you’re the enemy. Now, we will get 2 point of view, the stunner and the stuned target. Good enemy always keep move when farming or last hitting. The safe way to dodge from Elune arrow is always stays near creep. But in this case, since we just a support hero, you need to positioning and well timed Arrow to make sure, Elune hit the right target. Always help your friend who solo in his lane.

So, maybe this is general way to kill with Elune Arrow

1. Predict Enemy Movement

2. Shoot Elune Arrow

3. While Arrow directly sent through it’s path, move behind enemy lines or just leap to arrive near him.

4. Starfall + auto attack.

11. Rage
12. Poison Sting
13. Poison Sting
14. Poison Sting
15. Attribute Bonus
16. Rage
17-25. Attribute Bonus

Explanation of Skill Build:

There isn’t much room for creativity with the Lifestealer, and the only thing I disagree with diaz_leon about is his mixing of the levelling of Anabolic Frenzy and Poison Sting. While I agree that at least 1 level of Poison Sting early is important so that you can slow Heroes down for your allies to catch, I prefer to take Anabolic Frenzy to Level 4 before coming back to level Poison Sting again. The reason is that the extra movement speed from Anabolic Frenzy will increase the survivability of N’aix, a key early game problem, while Poison Sting will not.

N’aix The Lifstealer Items Build

The early game item build for Lifestealer can be the following:

Quelling Blade – This helps Lifestealer to kill easily when creeping for better farming.
Ancient Tango of Essifation – This item helps Lifestealer to regenerate when in mid health condition.
Healing Salve – This item helps Lifestealer to regenerate more fast whenever he is in a low health condition.
Ironwood Branch – This item grants each attributes for Lifestealer giving him more strength and toughness plus agility.
Magic Stick – This helps you to counter spell caster enemy heroes.

The mid game item build for N’aix can be the following:

Power Treads – This boots gives him agility and speed.
Yasha – This gives N’aix attack speed and movement speed.
Maelstrom – This helps N’aix do more damage and grants him a passive chance to cast chain lightning.
Cranium Basher – This item helps him to stop escaping heroes and grants him damage.
Stygian Desolator – This item improves his attack damage and reduces the enemy’s armor per attack.
Armlet of Mordiggian – This item gives N’aix the ability to lifesteal and improves his attack speed.
Lothar’s Edge – This item grants the user agility and the ability to Windwalk.

The late game item build for Lifestealer can be the following:

Manta Style – This helps Lifestealer to replicate himself into two to help him during the clash.
Butterfly – This item gives Lifestealer more attack speed and grants evasion that counters other melee enemy heroes.
Heart of Tarrasque – This grants him massive strength adding more health points. This can replace the Vanguard.
Divine Rapier – This can be one of the late game item for Lifestealer if your team is near on winning the game.
Sange and Yasha – This grants Lifestealer both strength and speed.
Monkey King Bar – This gives Lifestealer a lot more damage and a chance to mini-bash.
Buriza-do Kyanon – This gives Lifestealer a lot more damage and a chance to do more damage.
Assault Cuirass – This item grants him attack speed and armor.
Abyssal Blade – This item grants Lifestealer the chance to bash enemies. This is an upgrade for Cranium Basher.

N’aix The Lifstealer Strategy

Early Game
Long Lane – Scourge Top Lane or Sentinel Bottom Lane

This is the recommended lane. Here is where N’aix can play it safe. Simply because N’aix is near the allied tower to protect him from other sources. Let the tower attack the enemy creeps so that you can last-hit them easily. If you get harassed A LOT while in this lane, you can always pull neutrals to your creeps to force the enemies to your tower, or ask your lane buddy to pull for you so you can last-hit.

Short Lane – Scourge Bottom Lane or Sentinel Top Lane

Here is the “Danger Zone” for laning. Basically because you are near the enemies’ tower, making last hitting difficult. Here is where denying creeps is crucial to your survival. Try to deny all your creeps without getting in range of their tower OR them. If you think they’ll have a chance of killing you then don’t try to last-hit that creep. Of course the enemy team will feel confident about themselves and start harassing you so you can’t farm or last-hit. Also, here is where your prone to being ganked, simply because you are in enemy territory. Map awareness is key to surviving in this lane.

Middle Lane

Simply put, N’AIX NEVER TAKES MID. Only for specific reasons. If you do somehow take the middle lane, then a Bottle may help you lane better because you are prone to harassment, especially with heroes like SF. Although you can probably kill some mid heroes because of their low life but you must always be sure of your opponent’s skills and mana. Again, try last-hitting the enemy creeps so that you can buy the needed items for you. But try denying more than last-hitting to force your opponent to come near your tower, for easy last-hits. Also, take advantage of who your tower is attacking. If your opponent gets too close and your tower starts attacking him then try to kill him. If you think he has some kind of escape mechanism then dont waste your skills on him, just try your best to deal as much damage to him as possible.

Jungle

Start with the small creep camps on lower levels, then work your way up to the bigger creep camps as you gain level. Although because of Feast, you can kill some of the big creep camps, like the Centaurs and the Dark Trolls. Avoid the Furbolgs though, they are too tough on early levels. As a N’aix, jungler, you should be able to farm more for your items. If you are low on health, try to go to the big creep camps and just attack the one with the most health. Centaurs are your best victims if you need life, simply because they have low attack damage and high health. Furbolgs are the ones you should avoid because of their high damage. If you are confident that your allies can gank anywhere in their lane with you then gank them. But let them initiate the gank before you go in.

Some notes:

If you feel that you and your lane buddy can’t handle the situation within your lane, then try to call for a gank or ask to switch lanes with somebody.

Mid Game
Mid Game Phase:

This is where ganking and pushing is essential to winning the game. Basically, each hero doesn’t have that much strong items in their disposal. They only depend on their skills for survival.

Items:

Before you reach Level 15, you should have at least Power Treads, a Magic Stick and the Armlet of Mordiggian or Cranium Basher but Armlet is more recommended than Basher since you dont have enough attack speed to make the most of it. If you have been a good N’aix, you should have at least Armlet and some components of Basher. Continue farming for your Basher and other Core items. NEVER buy Hyperstone after Treads. Your attack speed is useless if your squishy and/or you can’t even attack your opponent, even with your insane damage. Also, always have a nice TP scroll at your disposal.

Ganking vs Farming

As a future carry, N’aix should, but not always, participate in ganks. Your 80% slow is useful, and so does the life steal it gives. Plus the gold you receive in participating ganks helps you farm for your core items better. As I said above, you should not always participate in ganks. Only participate if you are near the gank or when your team calls you. If you believe that they can handle it then don’t go and just farm for your core. If you somehow participate in the gank, then try to ask your allies to give you at least 1 kill, for the gold and experience, and of course, game rep. Farming for items is better than always participating in ganks. Another good strategy though is pushing, while your allies are ganking enemy heroes. This will help a lot by destroying the enemies’ defenses, farming for your core and giving you and your allies free gold for the arrival of late-game as in late-game, pushing will become harder because the enemy team will have better items.

Late Game

Late Game Phase:

This is where mass pushes and mass teamfights happen often. Since almost each hero has their core items, they have the power to turn every teamfight around. As your team’s semi-tank carry, you SHOULD always participate in every big teamfight.

Items:

You’ve probably chosen your set of items for the game, By the time you reach Level 25, you should have some/all your core items ready.

Here is the recommended item set for N’aix. These items help N’aix play his role as a semi-tank carry. Treads for his Strength and movement speed. Armlet for the HP and damage boost in team fights. Desolator for more damage output and Cuirass for all your armor and attack speed needs. The TP scroll can be replaced by another item. A recommended item would be Heart of Tarrasque, to increase your tanking capabilities.

Pushing:

This is a non-recommended substitute strategy during late-game phase. Basically what you do is avoid teamfights. You only do this if you and your allies are confident that they can win a team fight without you. What you do is let your allies do a mass push on one lane, while you are on a seperate lane, farming or jungling, basically hiding from sight. Of course the enemy team will try to defend their lane that is being pushed by 4 heroes. If you see almost all your enemy heroes trying to defend their lane then you go to your lane and push. If your confidence on your allies worked, then you should be able to push 2 lanes easily.
